Education has always been the main focus of the museum. Heritage is what we inherit from our forefathers and what we bequeath to our children. A primary role of Folk Heritage Museum is to engage and educate school children, parents and visitors about the use of artifacts that were used daily not too long ago. Museums are a lot more than collections of artifacts: they allow you to understand and appreciate the importance of rural folk cultural heritage.

The Folk Heritage Museum also invites the school students for cultural tours and every Saturday or upon prior notifications on weekdays also. The cultural tours will thus be spearheaded by the members of the Folk Heritage Museum.
